mortgage application a week before job probationary period ends

hello all,
what's your advice here ? I've got a mortgage application approved & an offer accepted on a flat. I didn't realise that there could be problems with probationary periods & mortgage approvals.
Of course when I applied intially I stated I'd been with my firm 2 months. I've got two weeks left til I become 'permanent' although the probationary period was always going to be fine. The problem is that the lender will write to my employer to ask confirmation of my status.
Do I
1) submit my application now & get a letter from my boss stating that I definitely will be a permanent member of staff in two weeks. Work have made it clear that they won't lie & say I'm permanent if the letter arrives before two weeks.
2) hang on to the forms for 10 days. That way, by the time I submit em & the bank writes to my firm I will be permanent.
I'm thinking option 2.
Also. Worst case scenario - say they wrote & work says I'm on probationary so they pull the offer. Can I just reapply straight away ?

I'd submit now, and ask your boss to delay his reply for as long as necessary until he can officially say you're perm.
By the time he gets the request from your lender, it could be a week or so after you submitted anyways....0
