Hi All
I just wanna ask something, Ive been off since March of this year with an issue with my back, SSP pay ran out on 17th September 2012...then it took my employors till 2nd November to hand over the SSP1 when they terminated my !!! so that I could make a claim to ESA....
Well that took till the 27th of November till they decided to pay monies owed....
Strange thing happened to day is I got a wage slip for this month for 1419.62 for december pay....But my contracted ended in November ????... I mailed HR and they told me that this is correct due to me signing a compromise agreement...
I wasnt expecting this or wanting it... Should I send it back or I tryed calling the ESA people today to no luck, not in till 27th, but I am not gonna be accused of defrauding the system cos them morons at my ex employers dont know what they are doing...
Any advice anyone

What did you CA say?
The reason for the compensation depends on whether it matters.
For example if that payment was hush often referred to an an Ex Gratia payment and not contractual it isn't wages, if it's wages then you may have an issue.0 -
CA Has a ex gratia payment but this is 1419 on a wage slip, I dont think its anything to do with my CA but the HR person I mailed told me it is?
CA is for way more and I havnt signed it yet0 -

Ok that would have been my next question whether your solicitor advised but if it's not signed yet.
Have you been dismissed yet (ie what was your termination date).
If you are still technically employed but not getting SSP then you can claim ESA (So it would only be Dec) that is the issue, as far as I know anyway.0 -
Still confused Princessdon
Was told my employment / contract of was being terminated from 2nd November.
Thus being the case, Im not working so what they doing sending any payment... CA hasnt been signed, 2 many outstanding issues but when HR spoke to me last week they told me Im still effectively employed by the company until such time I sign the CA...
I just dont wanna get on the wrong side of these benefits people and get accused of fraud, coz Ive been totally honest with these people0 -
Could it be any of these

holiday pay
