I recently have had an accident in my father car, I am on my fathers insurance as a named driver, does this mean when I get my own insurance I have had a claim or is it that my father has had the claim as it was his insurance?
Thanks in advance

You will have to disclose the accident & it will have an impact on what you pay for your premium...assuming you'll be wanting insurance in the next 3-5 years.0 -
You will have to declare you have had an accident.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0

Labman & icebaby are right, the insurance company will always ask "have you had and accidents OR claims in the last 5 years regardless of fault"
Whilst the claim may be attributed to your farther the accident is yours.
