Wallis - atrocious returns service

I ordered a dress early November from Wallis. Returned it using their collect plus service (drop the bagged item at any of the 500 drop off points) on 12th November. No refund. Called Wallis on 20th November to be told I had to wait until 28 had elapsed before they would consider that my parcel had gone astray. Today, 22nd December, I am still waiting for the refund. I've been promised it will be in my account within 5 working days.
Shame because I really like Wallis clothes, but waiting nigh on 8 weeks for a refund is ridiculous.
