stopping Bluetooth auto scan

  • That looks identical to the Samsung Galaxy Ace, in which case you only have the option of disable/enable bluetooth which, when on/enabled, will automatically scan for devices by default - There is no option to: ENABLE BLUETOOTH, BUT NOT SCAN FOR DEVICES (Disable scanning). The whole point of bluetooth is to scan for devices just like other wireless/wifi devices do. I know what you are saying though; it would be nice to ignore other devices and unnecessary scanning for devices you may never connect to, but at this time it looks like you either disable bluetooth (no scanning) or enable it (defaults to autoscan). There is probably a way by programming it, but.....
