Windows XP 64 bit

Hi all,
Does anyone know where I can pick up a new copy of XP 64 bit for a reasonable price please? On Amazon there's only one seller offering for £200! I'm unsure whether ebay is a sensible place to buy genuine software also.
Thank you!
:)

XP 64-bit is about as rare as hens' teeth, and for good reason - almost no hardware manufacturer wrote any drivers for it.

You might be able to find a second-hand PC with XP64, which could be cheaper than £200.

    But see first sentence!

Why do you want XP64? It isn't current and never enjoyed the best support. If you want a 64bit version of windows it is better to go for Windows 7 or 8.

When I got my new PC my original plan was to use XP64 (mostly because I wasn't as used to 7 at the time). Its utter junk, no drivers - even something as simple as Avast Antivirus wouldn't install.

OP: just get Win 7 64 bit.

Just get Windows 7 and run the programs in compatibility mode.
