    The idea that so-called "Road Tax" actually pays for highways maintenance is a bit like believing that the duty charged on beer, wine and spirits maintains the pub industry :)

    The idea that so-called "Road Tax" actually pays for highways maintenance is a bit like believing that the duty charged on beer, wine and spirits maintains the pub industry :)

    Its little wonder that the General Public get angry when they find that they are really fleeced from when they get up in the morning to retiring to bed at night.

    How some people survive is hard to believe at times after by being misguided by politicians.

    No pubs are private sector, but it probably covers the cost of healthcare for those affected by it.
