Expat living in ME, looking for contents/travel insurance

Currently living and working in q8, and trying to obtain some annual multi trip travel insurance. The main stumbling block is that I usually stay in the US in the summer (over 70 days), which means a lot of companies wont touch me.....

Also, looking for some form of mobile contents insurance. I have a lot of expensive equipment between iPhone's, Mac's, road bikes etc etc, and am looking for a way to cover myself in case anything anything happens to them.

Any advice on the matter would be hugely appreciated! Cheers.....

apologies for the writing police - Kuwait...

The insurance companies over there usually revolve around car or medical insurance. There is also the issue of the language barrier of getting local insurance, I really do not think that many locals use insurance companies - if they break/lose something, their mentality is just to buy a new one.

I doubt that you will find any insurer outside Kuwait willing to insure you.

Think you will need to try a broker in Kuwait.
