ESA 50 and christmas holidays

Hi all,
Was just wandering if someone out there can help me i am currently getting ESA in support group i received the ESA50 the questionnaire beginning of December however due to various people being off sick in Citizen Advice i have couldnt fill in the form, in the past they have helped me.

Today my CPN helped me fill in the form and i posted it recorded delivery today however i am worried it wont get there for the questionnaire deadline which is on 2nd January. Does anyone know if ATOS in Cardiff will be open.

Any advice appriciated as i am really on edge

I posted my ESA50 first class recorded to Atos in Cardiff on 8th December and it got there on the 14th December. By that reckoning there's a good chance yours will get there by the deadline. Don't worry too much, you have proof that you posted it in good time.
  • you can send atos an email asking if they have reeceived the forms.

please include your full name, address, and most importantly your national insurance number when you contact them.

    this is their email address;-

    customer-relations@atoshealthcare.com

    they normally respond pretty quick

It is not required that the office be open, merely that you have posted it so it will arrive 'in normal course of post' by the deadline.
(So, for first class, the working day after the letter)

Phoning them, or contacting them in some manner to let them know you've posted it is a good idea, as is getting it sent registered, and keeping a copy.
