help on HO/RT ticket issused by police

i was stoped on the 2/12/06 in my friends car and asked to produce my documents there and then as i couldnt as didnt and dont carry them on me when on a eve out, i was given a producer which i thought was ok till i found out by my friend that his girlfriend had changed the insurance document to only named drivers so im now in trouble and have a court date. but also on the producer the date is the 2/11/06 and should say the 2/12/06 so have i got a get out clause?or im i just hping i have and what will happen when i plea guilty in court?
