Help! How do I cancel Radio Times subscription?

I want to cancel my Radio Times subscription to save money (and because I have little time to watch TV and not much to read the magazine either, and can get the info I need from the website). I can't see for the life of me how to do this, although I've searched the RT website and elsewhere. Does anyone know what I need to do?

Thanks. :)

  • Try http://www.buysubscriptions.com/contact-us - linked form the bottom of the rt website - they'll probably need your customer number

    1. Cancel direct debit with your bank

    2. Contact whoever you have the subscription with to let them know.

It should work by just cancelling with your bank, but it's courteous to inform whoever you're getting the magazine from.
  • Thank you both very much - sorry not to have replied before now; I got sidetracked by Christmas and forgot to check! I'll try the advice given.

These days, never cancel something just by cancelling a Direct Debit. It is a bad habit which can go very wrong if the supplier continues to supply and then trashes your credit record.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'
