    Has anyone here ever bought a coat from Vegetarian Shoes in Brighton, if so was it ok well made etc, any help would be great I am looking at getting the Moto Jacket on there site.

    I bought one second-hand off ebay: it's great. Unlike the shoes, it's non-breathable plastic and quite flamable though (someone's cigarette ash fell on it once and I still haven't patched the hole). The material is a kind of thick leathery plastic with a thin cotton backing from Griffine.com in France (Soho Silks used to stock it) and the construction is by Xile in Brick Lane, London.

    WOW thanks Veganline (hmm wonder if you are the same as the online footware people ?) anyhow thanks lots that is the best info I have had to date about this coat. I posted over lots of vegan forums but no one ever gave a real answer about the coats, lots on the footware but I have plenty of that, a few vegans with hang ups with leather free alternatives had a groan but no constructive help.

    Don't know any Vegetarians know lots of vegans and you can get loads of us in a pair of shoes as we are all beans n leantils lol
