Boots 50% Sale...

Majorly disappointed this year and feel a bit annoyed that I stayed up until 5am to avoid the rush and secure some bargains. :mad::mad:
Last year was much better with 50% off premium beauty and fragrance gifts.
I don't want to be ungrateful as 1/3rd is still good, if you want the things, but not enough to entice me to spend out early on next years Christmas gifts.
House of Fraser is much better for fragrance gifts, most with 50% off. Sorry Boots.

I don't know if it's the fact i'm shopping much earlier this year or using Chrome broswer but my order went through no hitches, dead chuffed, got both items I really wanted and a few other things

I was up feeding the baby at 5.30 am, so took the opptunity to do some then, all went through ok, and half price, thats some of next Christmas sorted.:beer:

I added what i wanted to my basket a couple of days ago, logged in at half nine this morning and there they were at half price :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Very happy!! Added a couple of other things too x

So, 2 orders placed with Boots.com on Christmas eve at 5am.

Today, they are delivered in four part harmony by four couriers, as it seems that the multiple boxes were all muddled up and seperated.

Box 1 - Has been delivered opened. Items all there but as they are all toiletries, I don't know if they have been tampered with and will have to now return. (DPD)

Box 2 - Courier pointed out that the whole of one corner of the box has been smashed in and that in her opinion Boots have crammed far too much weight into the box. On opening 3 perfume box sets and 1 lipgloss set are all damaged with the plastic smashed, including my prized Jimmy Choo. Will have to return. (DPD)

Box 3 & 4 - Both boxes arrived soaking wet, which has made my Soap and Glory bag sets ... you guessed it... soaking wet. Will have to return. (Hermes)

Seriously annoyed that I was awake all night and waiting until 5am to get cheap birthday presents sorted, and now have to return most of them.

Complained to Boots, but not much they can do as everything is now sold out on the web page, and they checked all of my local stores, which are also sold out. Thanks Boots, NOT !!

Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue ?

Oh, I got two boxes delivered today as well. I'm almost scared to open them now. What I will say though is that I managed to get the Soap and Glory set that was reduced from £60 to £27 before Xmas. I only got around to opening it last night and there is an item missing?? The Peaches and Cream cleanser which I'm not that bothered about but I think I'll phone Boots to let them know. The actual Soap and Glory box didn't look like it had been opened or tampered with so I can only assume it was an error when it was originally being packed.

Sorry to hear about your order, I'd be really mad too if that happened to me.
