    Thanks ally. I'll probably open another savings account then and link a goal.

    Evening all - at last I've finished work for two weeks:j:j

    Just a few small things today as I have also managed to spend the best part of £50 on shopping and a few extra last minute pressies.

    Little things...
    • Hairdresser trimmed my fringe for free as I have a proper appt for next week but can't stand the hair in my eyes any longer
    • Picked up a few food bits to tide me over until I go to Wales for Xmas
    • Talked myself out of a takeaway (wasn't really very hungry I was honest with myself) and had 11p supernoodles instead:rotfl:
    • Walked dog for a bit of fresh air and gentle exercise for him
    • Staying in tonight - some friends from work were going out but I didn't really fancy it and it would have cost me at least £30 including taxis
    • Checked bank - still no refund from elec company :mad:
    • Make some plans for the weekend - last few quiet days before the onslaught of Xmas with the family
  • My things for the day:

    * [STRIKE]checked banking & shifted funds[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]updated budget[/STRIKE]
    *[STRIKE] worked out cc payment and transferred money into stoozing account[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]called Howdens to see if they had some wall brackets to fix the cupboards to the walls as we didn't get them with the 2nd hand kitchen instead of driving to ikea tomorrow. They have some and are giving them to me free of charge :j[/STRIKE] they didn't fit :( so I called Ikea and they are sending 8 out free of charge :T
    * [STRIKE]booked floor sander for tomorrow. [/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]will test hand sander on the floorboards tonight to see if I can get away without hiring the edging sander & save £40+vat[/STRIKE] tis fine will just get a little sanding block ;)
    *[STRIKE] all meals from stores - foraged chestnut soup for lunch & yellow stickered Sainos takeawy tonight :T[/STRIKE]
    *[STRIKE] cancelled night out tonight with best friend to focus on kitchen...[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]VSP & update sig[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]will go and get ds a jumper for xmas on way home[/STRIKE]

    Think that's my lot! Have a great day x

    OMG I can't remember the last time I did everything on my list :j
