Hi
I am hoping that you can give me some advice. I am trying to find a reasonably priced door bell and the ringer unit for my PVC front door.
I need one that is dark as the door is rosewood and sticks onto the frame with pads.
It needs to be wireless, but I have been told as is going on PVC it needs to be 200m range.
I have spent hours looking on the Internet, no joy, so I was hoping that someone will kindly tell me how they deal with this problem and what make and model works.
Thanks for your kind consideration:)

Exactly. You will be lucky to get a wireless bell with a 200m range. How big do they think your house is?Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
Last thing i'd do is fit an dark coloured bell, it won't be obvious to many callers and they will just end up knocking anyway.0

Hi
Can anyone tell me how much a plumber should charge to change a ballcock washer in a toilet ?
It is making a loud humming noise when it is being flushed.
I live in london:j
Thanks in advance0 -
Unless they encounter a problem that causes a delay or extra work, all they should really be charging is whatever their minimum rate or call out charge is (plus a few pennies for the washer.)
It should be an extremely quick and easy job and any plumber should be able to do it in a matter of minutes providing that the water supply can be turned off easily enough.0
