Resolution shares

Saw this tipped as a good dividend share, but on looking at historic charts the share price seemed to tumble in 2010 from over £25 per share to just over £2. I have been Googling but can 't find out why:mad:
Does anyone have these shares or know what happened to cause such a drop?
I am still thinking about Vodafone, but wondering just how low they will go....

Unless we are talking about a different share, I cant see a drop from £25 to just over £2 in 2010?
Sorry if Ive got the wrong share but I looked at -

This is where I saw it, you have to click the 3 year option on the charts.

I dont know where you got your data from. See here for the charts from the Resolution website - no sign of a massive drop at any time. The company is being built up by takeovers, the majority of these didnt happen til 2010/2011 and it seems that the share trading volume has only been large since Aug 2010 which is about when it entered the FTSE100.0

Found it - there was a large rights issue (company issues new shares to attract new investment) and share consolidation (company swaps existing shares for more at a proprortionally smaller value each to make trading easier) which brought in a lot more capital and greatly increased the size of the company which is why it entered the FTSE100 at that time. Basically the shares prior to July/August 2010 are for what was effectively a different company to that after Aug 2010.0

Oh thanks for that, thought I was going nuts:T
So the 3 year chart on the London Stock Exchange site does show £25+ per share then pre-July 2010? I just couldn't find an explanation anywhere.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0
