:jSo what's the outcome markb31?
When is your final date with the company and do you still get your redundancy?
Will they provide you with a good reference for future employers (they most definitely should do)
Well done you!!!!

my final day with the company is today(they prolonged my employment for the hearing from the 28th of april)

Good for you Mark - but please, don't do this again (the original act) because actually a complaint or lack of it is irrelevant. It can seriously be treated as attempting to fraudulently get goods and misusing your position in a company. Take it that you've had a fortunate escape on this occasion. If the co. hadn't been closing and a bit incompetent you could have been issued with a warning for it.(termination unlikely realistically on first offence, they were pushing their luck to be honest). I'm sure you realise now that doing anything a wee bit naughty simply isn't worth it

get the carers swapped to you and claim Income support, you can swap it back to your wife later if you find another job.if so could my wife make a joint claim for us both?she does not go to work as she gets carers allowance for our eldest daughter who has got autism
also getting carers will give you home responsibilities protection on you NI contributions.
Either that or get your wife to claim income support and you swap the child benefit payments over. Works exactly the same way.
And it's legal, give you access to housing benefit, council tax benefit, free prescriptions etc.The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Member 10

Just returned from holidays and am glad to see you got a positive outcome.hi everyone!
went to my hearing today and i actually won!!!
they could not prove anything they were accusing me of.
when the offences happened etc,
i actually had them in circles.
THANKYOU TO EVERYONE WHO GAVE ME THEIR ADVICE.
I OWE YOU ONE!!!!!!0 -
I have a feeling (others would confirm) that you have to be claiming the Carers or CB for the whole of the tax year to get the HRP for that year. so chopping and changing part way through the year might not get you the desired result in that area.get the carers swapped to you and claim Income support, you can swap it back to your wife later if you find another job.

I think it is different if Income support is involved. At the moment his wife gets carers and child benefit, if he claimed carers insted, then he could can claim income support which (this is what was told by DWP)rubs out the swapover ruleThe "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Member 10
