I've just had a very quick glance through their rule book and at sec 14.9 there is provision for area contribution collectors...http://www.bfawu.org/Rulebook05.pdf
(you should also be able to pay subs by direct debit or a cheque).

Has your employer held an investigatory hearing to establish the facts before deciding if a disciplinary hearing is necessary?

You should make clear to your employer you need time to prepare for the hearing and in cognisance of that you wish to be supplied with any evidence they have against you and also a copy of the investigation report including witness statements etc etc - in the interests of natural justice you may wish to test the evidence and examine witnesses for managements case therefore witness statements should not be anonymous. You really should receive a minimum of a weeks notice to allow time to prepare for this.

    So what's the outcome markb31?

When is your final date with the company and do you still get your redundancy?

Will they provide you with a good reference for future employers (they most definitely should do)

    Well done you!!!!
