Engadgement Ring Insurance

Hey all,
My wife forgot to renew her existing standalone engagement ring insurance policy (as the value of the ring is close to 5k, we didn't want to have to claim for it on any home insurance policy). Now they're asking about any claims made for ANY of type of insurance policy (which they never asked for before).
I'm assuming they just want to suss out her risk factor for claiming at all, not with regards to her risk for claiming on the ring.
Does anyone know of any good policy providers for engagement rings? Google turns up loads, but I'd rather get some MSE feedback if anyone has any
Thanks! :T

Home insurance is generally best for anything under £20k
Our current Axa policy covers any individual items up to £10k without even having to declare them. Looking at doing a quote just for the wifes engagement ring, watch etc and it comes to higher than our home insurance which is unlimited general contents and £50,000 of high risk items0 -
I've checked our Nationwide Home Insurance policy and their Valuables single item limit is £3,000. So not much use there.
The previous policy was only £50 per year, so was cheap enough for what it covered.

That will be their undeclared limit, there will be a higher limit for specified items - I just did a quote adding a specified item of a £5k ring and it accepts0
