  • They can arrange redelivery online when it's convenient for them. They've probably decided they don't want it.

Yes this is my point :( It states that on the tracking and no attempt has been made. I just assumed that eBay would have SOME sort of protection against this, but obviously I was wrong. Guess I'll be deleting my account as this is getting beyond ridiculous with their policies and fee increases..

Edit: Now eBay are having complete fun with me. They've sent an email saying I owe them money, even though the money was refunded from my paypal account, they are asking for me to send the same amount which has already been refunded to eBay which is ridiculous and if I don't comply I have my account suspended with the possibility of debt collectors.

Does the balance in your paypal show as a negative, as they may have refunded yet you didn't have sufficient funds in the account to cover it?

If they are able bodied enough to bid on ebay - they must be able bodied enough to re-arrange delivery online.

They probably just changed their mind - and didn't want the hassle of paying return postage.
That's rubbish - many people with mobility problems buy online because it's more convenient than going shopping. You can find using a car difficult (or not drive) but still use a computer.

And quite a few delivery offices insist redelivery is arranged from the post office; it's come up a number of times on the Buyer's Board and people have reported being charged for it.

Also redelivery is not just the postperson putting it through the letterbox - it's having to get a signature as well, which puts someone unable to stay in for that at a disadvantage.

Just proves how rubbish RD really is on low value items - creates a whole layer of extra hassle for both buyer and seller without giving much extra benefit to either - not worth it.

I have double the amount needed to cover it, and it does say it's already been refunded. It was put on hold from the start so it was removed from my balance and now it's been refunded completely. I've used PayPal for a few years so I can see clearly it's been refunded, so now I have no idea why eBay are trying to take more money. Their CS is pretty awful in explaining things well.
