I think you (and he) will know if the overtime is getting too much for him so don't worry too much!
Hubby goes through phases of getting a lot of overtime, and I can tell when he's doing too much, because he starts to get grumpy and snappy with me and DS (because he gets over-tired), so I'll ask him to cut back a bit, because our relationship is worth more than a few hundred quid.
Fantastic news about the extra money though - I agree with others who have said use some of it to go camping. You're in this for the long haul and still need to have a life in amongst all the debt repayment."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Depending where you are in the country - Cornwall and Devon anr always lovely and have some great campsites.
If you are futher up North then maybe Scotland ??
There are so many places to go - if you are going for a week could you split your holiday between 2 places (obviousley not too far apart because of petrol costs !!)

Both are nice - we go to the Port Madoc/Black Rock Sands area of Wales sometimes and it's lovely round there, but the lake district is so pretty too."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Thanks Tash,we live in the East (Norfolk) so very hard to get to anywhere from here, don't fancy Devon/Cornwall as it would end up visiting family and friends and no 'us time',I could not tell we are coming, but I'm sure my parents would make a fuss and tell everyone!
I LOVE Scotland,I know it's a long drive, but might suggest it to DH,he has never been there,so I'm sure he would be up for it! oooh, getting all excited about the thought of going away

Seriously though, glad you have got something to look forward to, you deserve it xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
