Stove top fans for solid fuel stoves?

Hello everyone
I've heard that these (such as the eco fan) are good for heat circulation if your stove is in an inglenook. But all the ads seem to specify them for wood burning or gas stoves as opposed to solid fuel stoves. The only one I found that included multifuel is too tall for the space.
Am I right in thinking that they are not sutable for solid fuel stoves due to the higher temperature?

No problem, the Ecofan has a heat sensitive spring under the base which , when the fire top gets very hot lifts the base of the fan so that it is no longer in contact with the hotplate and slows the fan down. Fantastic little devices , far more interesting to watch in the evening than whats on Coronation Street. Makes for great comfort conditions by evenly circulating the air around the room. No more cold feet or draughts. You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0
