Lloyds TSB shares selling

I have about £70 of Lloyds TSB shares (ex Halifax). My dad has also left me the same amount. I want to sell these but don't know how to go about this.
I fear that it will cost me a large part of their value but I also want to tie up these loose ends. Any advice please much appreciated.

Are they in certificated form? Or, held electronically?0

If the costs will take up a large part of their value then you could gift them to charity. They then batch them up with other shares and sell at a better rate to boost their funds.

One of the cheapest has to be http://www.x-o.co.uk/
If certificates you would have to send by recorded post and get them electronic in your account, then you can sell for £5.95 per trade. Your bank might charge you 3 or 4 times as much.0 -
I think they are electronic as they were reissued a few years ago after Halifax joined Lloyds?0

Should be fairly straight forward to sell if they are held electronically.
I had assumed they were certificates though as your father left you some. You will need to get his transferred into your name prior to selling though.0
