Question - what have people's experiences been of Swapit sorting out problems? We had a good start there but now 2 serious disappointments - one a DVD described as "mint" but in fact the worst scratched DVD I have ever seen in my life and totally unplayable, and now a video sent when it was advertised as being a DVD (with the DVD photo.)
Anyone had any experience of Swapit customer service to sort such things out?
If you send them e-mails stating the swapitshop details of the swap and say what was wrong with it they will sort it out. I've had things never turn up or be not as described and e-mailed. Tip though, e-mail it at least 3 times, they never seem to pay attention if you just send it once - though maybe that's just with me!The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. just wondered if anyone else had this problem?
I've had some rubbish from swapitshop as have some of my relatives - but they do recredit if you send things back. Also had some items that were fine. I wish they would do slightly more checking before they post something, maybe checking anything where the person has had a complaint against them previously.
I feel they don't have bad enough penalties for not sending the right things.0 -

yeah ur right swapitshop shoud not only drop bad senders star rating pionts but they should also take away the same amount of swapits that the winning bider bidded 4 **example** winning bidder bids 700 swapits for an item the bad swaper who put it up loses 700 swapits instead of gaining them **
this way the could lose all of there swapits if they keep it up0 -
I can't sign in to swapitshop at the moment - anyone else have that problem?0

did all that. they say they can log in to my account themselves with no problem so I have to contact microsfot - sure at 40 pounds + vat a time!
After they logged in it cleared the fault temporarily but next time I tried to log in it was back again. Hadn't changed a single setting so it was obviously something they did. Crappy site.
I use IE and windows XP. So their site doesn't work with standard settings and they can't be bothered to help sort out the problem. How would I get another browser anyway!0 -
A gentle reminder that this is the place to raise any queries or other discussion about Swapits. Please abide by the "NO CHAT" instruction on the Codes Only thread.
Unfortunately if you don't it does made it look as if you are one of the many serial disruptors who have appeared in the past to disrupt that thread.
PS. Please also PM me if you have received any intimidatory PMs from relatively new joiners about the Swapits threads. I'd be interested to see if there is a "trend" developing here.0 -
I've just registered on this swapit doohicky - I'm 22, and I've filled the form in correctly and it's let me register. Will this cause any problems later on?0
