Why have my smilies stopped working? [Now fixed]

I use Firefox, and use a few add ons, but haven't added any new ones for a while.
I can see the smilies box over there ---> and it says "Smilies" at the top and "More" at the bottom, but no smilies in the box. I can't see anything, can't drag anything, and even putting them in by hand like this
doesn't work.
The "Disable smilies" button is unchecked down under additional options.
Ideas?

Working OK here.
1st things to do normally is to clear your browser cache/temporary files, cookies etc.

Ah, hah! It was an over-eager ad blocker that seemed to have blocked all the smilie images! Maybe an animated one annoyed me some time recently and I had figner truble when blocking it.

OK. I use adblock on most browsers, and know that is an easy mistake to make when trying to block things.
