Travel insurance after leaving the UK

Hi guys,

My partner and I are in New Zealand and living here for a few months before going travelling. We are UK residents.

I thought we were both covered under my insurance on my bank account but it turns out we're not covered for the whole trip. They can't extend it because we've already left the UK.

Does anyone have any suggestion for companies to try?

I've seen World Nomads mentioned a few times and they seem very expensive. I know we may not have much choice but if anyone has any recommendations, I'd appreciate it!

Has to be any number of insurance available out there, go to a NZ online insurance site or a travel agent an get an insurance that will cover you.

www.worldwideinsure.com and I think Globelink, but not sure about that one.

Don't expect it to be cheap though.
