    WOW, that's great Tallgirl.

I will PM you for a copy, I think I'm going to print it out and put it on the wall somewhere.

I'm still proud as punch that my DH and I paid off more than one a year's pay for one of us in just 2 and a half years. We earn about £50K between us each year before tax, but together we paid it off!:j

There are some incredible figures up on that board, and I know from being part of this thread that is was not going without 'stuff' that made those overpayments, it was spending wisely on the things we needed, and getting the best price to buy the things we wanted that got us the extra money.

Yes, there have been life changing circumstances, people have been made redundant, people have had babies, got married (I think) and got even new bathrooms(:D) and even went on some wonderful holidays, moved home, bought new houses.... but we made it to the end.

    congratulations everyone!
( I wish I knew how to do fancy big banners!)

    Congratulations everyone!

Thank you and congratuloations to everyone involved - i am amazed at how well we have all done, and on a personal note, to have paid off nearly half of my mortgage in 3 years is amazing - if i can keep going, then i will now be mortgage free in the next 3 years and i am determined to do that.

Where are all the challengers who haven't completely paid off going to go now for inspiration and motivation? With 200k odd to go I don't think I'm going to be able to pay off in 3 but I would like to carry on sticking to a challenge for another period and to my current projected period of 13 years 8months. The other MFi3 group is a year in already though. Is anyone joining them or shall we have a follow on group of our own?

Thanks to Tall Girl and Dithering Dad and everyone who has given us support throughout this challenge-I feel i've achieved alot, but not nearly as much as alot of others. We joined mortgagefreein3 part 2 in december 2009, so we have nearly 3 more years to achieve further reductions in our mortgage. Over payments are on hold at the moment though as we are getting married later this year.
Well done to everyone who joined this challenge-and continued good luck to those who are still paying off their mortgages. A big well done to those who paid off their mortgages.
