Ups I seem to have gone the wrong way interestwise this month. I paid £47.84 interest last month but £49.89 this month. Either the rate has gone up or we now have less money in the offset. I have paid the interest off so back down to a nice round £20k. Will be sub £20k this month feels great. Thanks for the updates by the way.
Bathroom is still coming along nicely and is not going to go that much over budget. Have decided to get the ensuite fully tiled so that will add a bit but not that much in the scale of things.
Matchbetting is still great, Quidco adds a bit too but I just can't be asked with Surveys anymore. Maybe I am getting complacent as there seem to be so much free money around.
Please get your updates to me for the chart by 12th July.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Just another few zillion quid to go and I might stand a chance of keeping my payments reasonable when my fixed rate ends...
Hey, don't be disheartened, every little helps, as they say.
Well done to everyone who is making overpayments, however small. I'm looking forward to the next update so that we can see how much we have paid off collectively.Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

I agree TG- you're right to lose them if they've not updated in so long, it's not like they've not been mentioned plenty of times, and we were all warned our names would be taken off if we were very very slow to update.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Moneysavingnovice, any chance of a pm to tell me where this shop is? I will be wanting a table and chairs set soon so need to have a look around for somewhere cheaper to get it.
Managed to get a TV unit and sideboard for lounge for £408 though so that's ok. I'm also going to have to fork out for carpet downstairs and 2 new doors fairly soon (although I may ask for people to club together for the doors for christmas as I doubt we'll be ready for them before then!

Hi there everyone!
just PM'd TG as well - as of today our morgage is £251,832...
Just realised that my starting figure is 2k more than the official one (guess we must have cleared the difference before we signed up) so on paper we haven't actually done as well as I thought
Better stick with the official stats of £261,385so we've managed to clear £9553 over the last year (we were late starters ) Our target is £25,000 off so we're only 38.2% there
With a sprog hopefully on the horizon am beginning to think we may not make our target but we should have a year or so to blitz so will try to get say another 50% done over that period, leaving less than 15% for the final few months...
