Hi everyone. I am doing the mortge free in 3 challenge-well reducing it by £4000 anyway. I was given a number etc before the gremlins attacked the site and now I can't remember what it is and I didn't make a copy of it!!! I tend to think it might have been 124ish but really can't remember. So if anyone happens to know... I know it's a long shot, and if no one can tell me perhaps tall girl will be kind enough to reallocate me a new number please? (promise not to lose it this time)

  • Hi 1274, I have added you to the list, welcome :).

Hi tattycath, I can't remember your number either, but if you PM or post your MFi3 challenge details again I'll put you on the list.

I couldn't post yesterday for some reason - how annoying!

I also cashed in my ISA - the banks rallied on Thursday so I cashed in right at the peak, making back most of my earlier losses. I decided that the stockmarket is a distraction to my MFi3 activities, plus I'm no gambler - I always got depressed when my shares went Red rather than Blue, so I've dumped them and paid the money into my Offset. A surer bet of making money!

    Hi everyone

You are all doing so well, I am really impressed by anyone who can overpay at the moment as Christmas naturally puts a squeeze on the ole finances.

Not an awful lot to report here other than the usual chaos created by 2 excited children!

    DD I have PM'd you ;)

PS next time you update the 1st post you need to amend 'months remaining' as well ;)

  • We've actually 2 years, 3 months and 24 days remaining as of today, or 845 days!

Thanks DD for linking me on the first page to my own diary.

Welcome to the new members I will get you on the chart for next time. Really horrid and wet here, should be christmas shopping and going to the post office but it is too wet. Will do some shopping on the internet instead will be much nicer.

Glad you got your bankshares out DD I agree it is much better to see it all offset. Just had my yearly statement and pleased we are doing it that way. We get 6.50% on the offset and DH is a higher rate taxpayer so unless we do the first £3000 in an ISA we are not going to beat that. My Prudential shares are not too bad we got them when they converted from Egg. Only have about £1000 in total but will hang on a bit longer. My Danish shares are total pants but they are they for the long term so not too bothered.

Need to do some christmas shopping need to check out where I get the best cash back. By the way did you know there is a new Cashback site that offers £10 for joining.

Anyway must get on with it take care all.
