Vinyl flooring repair - seam sealer?

I have torn my new vinyl flooring. I have used adhesive to stick it down but videos online show them using seam sealer which I cannot find anywhere. Does it have another name or any idea where I can find this? Thank you

hot weld gun is what we used to call them with. with the attachments though you are looking at about £300 trade, unless you manage to find one shipped in from the far east however you would probably still be looking at £1000

You want a vinyl floor welding gun, HSS used to hire them out dont know if they still do as the google links dont work ????You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0

Really? Videos show them using a small tube of transparent liquid0

that won't "weld" the joint. Also you will need weld rod (a thin strip of vinyl in the same colour as the vinyl you have - you generally buy matching weld rod for the vinyl if that makes sense).0

Oh ok. I have stuck the ripped piece down, is that ok?0
