Lastminute.com theatre seat allocation

Just booked the Spamalot ticket with lastminute.com as they are offering £13 for "best available seat". I know this topic has been discussed before here. Some people said they were offered good seats, some said not so great. But I just wonder if anyone knows whether the theatre allocates seat to you WHEN you get there, or if they are already pre-allocated? It is a Thursday evening show, so I guess it could be quite busy and wonder if I should arrive early to get a better seat.

I have used this many times but not for Spamalot. The tickets have always been pre-allocated so arriving early is unlikely to help.

As an aside, I have always been impressed with the actual seat. It really is
    excellent value.

Thanks! Did you still have good seats even when the theatre was full?

Actually as you said tickets are pre-allocated, then why can't lastminute.com disclose the seat number?

Never actually ended up in a full theatre but the seats have always been exactly as stated - "best available". I am sure you will end up with decent seats and enjoy the show.

It is actually unlikely that the theatre will be full otherwise they would not be offering such a superb deal.
