Green Deal - Solid Wall insulation

Hi all i was just wondering if anyone can answer a question i have about the new green deal scheme please

I am in receipt of child tax credit under for earnings under £16000 a year which qualified me to have free loft and cavity wall insulation but my walls are made of solid sandstone and have no cavity. I have been told under the new Green Deal that i could have to exterior walls insulated as my house is freezing

Are there any schemes on the new Green Deal that allow certain people with the required criteria to have a full grant?

Hi there, yes it is quite possible to get the work done with no upfront costs but be careful with the use of the word grant. It is not a grant you will pay for the insulation work via your gas/electricity bill.
