I am enjoying them

I was 10 days ahead before the Advents, now I'm struggling to complete comps on the day that they end. Mind you a lot of that is to do with my new puppy, I'd forgotten how much they keep you on your toes, comping peacefully seems like a distant memory.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Im fed up with neglecting other areas of my life due to the comps. I enter normal dailies first as Ive been lucky with those in the past, then its either comps ending tomorrow or advents.
Im worn out, but I think thats because Im finding myself busy without comping with Christmas shopping, wrapping, school activities, coursework, exams and general life. I should really give it a break for a bit and just maybe concentrate solely on mag dailies (like I keep promising myself), but I find I just can't.:rotfl: Obviously hooked. Just a bit worried its becoming a bit unhealthy for me TBH
Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers
Total Wins (Since April 2012) £3442.56

Buggy Advents aside they are more fruitful for me! (I've won more individual prizes this month than in the whole of first 8-9 months of this year!)
Pringles is my friend = 8 real wins!
It's a struggle though to keep up with the normal day-day competitions.
Am doing around 40 daily Advents, did get up to 50+ though loads have ended now0 -
Okay I have to admit that I really love Advents. OP, why do you hate Advents?0

I probably wouldn't be fed up of advents if i was winning with them.
But, i'm yet to win anything and therefore it can be tempting to give up.
Took a little break from the advents last weekend as i was struggling to keep up.0 -

Hi all & bluebella,
Yes same here although Ive won loads of comps including £250 cash from the o2 money machine advent (which has paid for christmas for me & oh)
Started to get a bit bored at the weekend - it was like everyday was the same, the same comps, the same comments and to be honest i was losing track of what day it was.
But thankfully many have now ended & ive slimmed right down on them, and i cant even be bothered with the games playing ones like Gaultier.
But overall best month for prizes and the £250 cash which has totally altered our christmas, but CANT WAIT for january!!
(and being a capricorn ive got my fingers crossed for a mega month-well you gotta have faith & believe)
Nice to have met you all if the world ends tonight, and if the world has then please ignore post on friday.Still comping, after 2 heart attacks 4th feb & 6th feb, and a stent put in.. 45 years old only:eek:0 -

vanpopple I completely agree - I think it is the repetition of visiting the same pages to do or say the same thing is what bores me. If it hadn't been the fact that I have been lucky this Advent, I would have probably given up many of them at the weekend! So looking forward to a break now!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0
