Hi,
Can anyone explain how to do this (as simply as poss please, feeling a bit dim tonight lol!
).
When I log into my ebay account for example (but also other sites) when I start typing in the first couple of letters of my user name it always comes up along with others, and also on another site my actual password came up. I have to share net access from time to time and would rather others did not see this info.
How do I get rid of these? Is it something to do with history or cookies?
Sorry if this is really easy to do but I am not techie minded.
Thanks in advance
charliegirl

Here is a link to clearing passwords....

Alternatively, go to the site and purposely login with a wrong password. It will ask if you want to change the stored password, and you say yes! Job done (part 2!)
Actually while you're on it, you could clear the cache and history too...

It's your AutoComplete settings - go into internet explorer (assuming this is the browser you're using) then tools > internet options > content. Find AutoComplete and click settings, you can adjust them from there.
