That and Peoples were the dealership who refused to provide a Ford Direct warranty on a Ford used car bought from a Ford dealership as mentioned above.

Nothing in it for me as I only do New anyway. OP could be at the other end of the country so just thought it would help as a guide to prices. Fully take your point though. *slaps wrist*

OK - one more question (I hope)....

How good is a Network Q "warranty" and "multi point check" that Vauxhall Garages give on second hand cars?

Does this negate the need for an RAC check? Does the "warranty" come free or do you have to pay extra for that. It is clear that a 30 day "pledge" comes free of charge. I have a feeling that the "warranty" will be an extra cost....
