CCJ'd on Closed Account - can I claim?

Hi there

I was wondering if anybody could please shed any light on my situation...

I had an account with NatWest that they closed in 2003. It got passed to various debt collection agencies before one of them finally got me CCJ'd on it late last year as I had not paid much of the overdraft off.

I have got my last 6 years' statements (well, 2001-2003) from NatWest no trouble and am intending to claim around £2000, but I was wondering if the fact I have been CCJ'd on this account will hinder the process?

I look forward to your insightful replies; the support on this forum seems to be phenomenal so thank you in advance.
