Paid two visits to my local Morrisons today and both times was overcharged on items.
It used to be that if this happened the store not only gave you your money back but gave you the product too.....good old days.

Problem was that as always a small number of people ruined it for everyone by deliberately hunting out pricing errors and then bulk buying. It cost too much to keep going! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

In Morrison's ? Tesco used to do that a long time ago but my local M's has never had that policy (going back at least 20 years I''ve been shopping there).0 -
I had that in Morrison's. Pack of tea was marked at £1 although similar ones were £1.29. I requested that I should only pay £1. They sent someone to check, who came back and said it was marked at £1.29, but they gave me it for £1.
I went back to check and I was right! Took a picture just to prove it to myself0 -
I get a mistake in my Morrisons here in London about once every couple of months.
I always check my receipts so when I spot it I go and queue up at the customer service bit at the back then sign the book and they give me my quid or two or fifty pee. No probs.
I get it regularly as I always get the reductions and the barcodes occasionally don't work or they haven't put it on to cover the original one which gets scanned instead.
So I'm surprised to hear that they fail to cough up to you. If you can be bothered maybe email one of the head offices, I expect they'd probably be interested to hear that and refund you.
Possibly you might even get a fiver voucher or box of chocolates or something by way of apology, I don't know if Morrisons do that kind of stuff but some other shops do.0 -
Morrison is terible with bouncing prices up and down so quickly that they and everyone else lose track.
Be carefull with there vacuume packed pork joints, they are supposed to be £2.95/kg (half price), but there are numerous labled £4.00/kg and some £2.65/kg amongst them.0 -
Well I went back today, purchased the same item as the other day and it was still scanned through at the wrong price. When I went to the customer service desk I was told that they obviously hadn't had time to change the shelf label to the higher price....yeh, right, lol.
I do NOT go looking for incorrectly priced items BTW.I just do my normal shop.0
