Itching to list but am I naughty??

Being impatient I would like to list an item now which FIL is bringing up on Thursday so I know for sure it will be arriving.

Was going to do a buy it now. Is this a bit naughty??? I can post it by lunchtime Thursday. I know it may not sell that quick but if I put it on tonight and it does, what happens then?????

I know I am like at child at times!!!

I'd probably wait until I had the item with me before I listed it. Won't you want to take pictures?

If you put on your listing that the earliest that you can post is thursday, I don't see why not! If it hasn't sold by then, you can always edit that bit out.

On the other hand though, what if it gets broken in transit etc?

No it really will not get broken and I will be using a picture from a site. Then again I suppose it could go up in flames!!!

    Oh I don't like waiting(stamps feet)!!!!

Probably not a good idea. It's much better to take your own photo of the item.

A stock photo can put people off, it is a favoured move of a scammer who don't of course have the item available. You can get way with a stock photo only is you have huge feedback for selling the same high end goods.

Selling one day and not posting until the third working day is perfectly acceptable, a seller has up to 7 days to post to be covered by paypal protection anyway. Most buyers are happy to wait up to a week for their goods anyway, any longer though and you will have problems.
