This happens a lot to me. I can be the only one in the cinema and the next person in will have the seat next to, behind or in front of me and have large rustling packets etc.
In the old days you could sit where you liked and stay from one showing to the next....0 -
I was once at an essentially empty cinema showing of 'What lies beneath' and the bloke sat behind me (why did he sit behind me! He had the entire cinema to choose from) fell asleep about halfway through and started snoring really loudly. In the end I gave him a good sharp prod, which didn't wake him up but did make him twitch and the noise stopped.0

People can be really annoying in cinemas. I remember a screening of Paranormal Activity, where a guy chatted on the phone openly for about five minutes, totally destroying the film's atmosphere. After someone shushed him, he walked down to the front row of the cinema and sat beside his friend - who he'd been talking to on the phone!0

Same here. I went to the cinema earlier today and no sooner had I put down my backpack and bags than this bloke near to me starts staring at me, then getting up and walking round the cinema. He kept eyeing me throughout the film and I was so nervous I dropped my popcorn and left before the end.
Brilliant tears rolling down my face funny0 -
We went to see ARGO,a weighty thought provoking film.
4 teenagers wearing Gilbert O'sullivan caps decided it was worth a punt, but for the first half spent their time chatting, checking phones, dropping food ect.
Then decided it was above their intellectual remit,so left,no doubt to return for the Keith Lemon opus.0 -

These will be the same people that in an empty car park will come and park in the space next to you.0
