Pet Insurance guide

Confused.com have launched a multi-pet insurance comparison.

This will allow pet owners to get a quote for up to 5 cats or dogs (or a mixture of both).

We'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences, particularly on how easy you found using this comparion, was the premium competitive - or any other information you wish to share.

The site was easy to use and an email was sent confirming all the quotes.


However, when I used the link from the email to retrieve the quotes and clicked on the link to buy the policy I had chosen, the link didn't work. I had to go through the whole quote process again! Very annoying!

Confused.com and MoneySupermarket are probably the best ones to go on. I have just tried to get my 2 cats insured and they are coming out with £38 per cat, or upto £78 for both!

Direct Line and Aviva are charging over double!

Stick with Confused and MSM definitely cheaper :-)

How not to buy pet insurance, use a comparison site...

I found this so easy. I wish I had done it before my cat was seriously injured by another cat and needed treatment that cost approximately £500. I have now got both cats insured for under £4.50 a month.
