Mark bushkes aka magic bean studio problems :-(

I purchased a deal through Groupon £20 for a fairytale photo shoot (fairytale shoot) by Mark Bushkes aka Magic Bean Studio.Which also included a 9" x 6" photo.

The shoot went well, the photographer did not have much of a rapport with children he was a little awkward but seemed polite enough. My 4 year old found the whole dressing up as a fairy a magical experience. We were then booked in to view photos a couple of weeks later. After leaving with the free photo only (as they wanted to charge £180 for ONE photo). When I got home I realised the photo was smaller than I imagined. I checked the groupon T&C's to check the sizing and confirmed it was a 9"x6" photo I should get, what they gave me was a 4x6. After calling them I was told I had to bring in the small photo back in, (30 mile round trip) and they would give me the 9x6. fair enough not a problem. Once there we were told that they do not have the facility to print off larger photos and they will have to send it in the post. Which was infuriating as I had made such a large round trip. 3 weeks later and still no photo. I called their offices to be told I was not a customer of theirs as I didnt buy more photos and I shouldnt be complaining about a free photo which I was completely gobsmacked at. I have posted on their facebook wall and eventually got a reply, to be told it was posted but I have to chase with my post office. No tracking number or anything. Not sure where I stand or how to get my photo or money back? - Can trading standards be contacted. I have contacted Groupon and am awaiting a response. I feel really bad my daughter keeps asking for her fairy photo and I am coming up stummped!

Does anyone know how I go about getting my photo or a refund? Is it possible?

If you want a refund you should probably ask Groupon. If it were me (which it was recently) I would keep chasing the studio so they give you the photo to get rid of you. They did pretty much the same to me and I got the photo in the end. I wouldnt go near them again though as the owner completely ruined the experience and treated my family like dirt just for asking for what we had paid for.
