  • I worked in their head office for 3 years, if you called us we'd pretty much sort any problem out straight away.

Well, my department did - I can't speak for the rest.

Your department must be in the minority. They aren't known around here as cr @ p phone warehouse for nothing!

Each to their own - most people don't bother calling us and judge based on the stores. I have to say, some of the store staff... wow.

Judging by the OP's other thread and first reply I'm probably going to get a load of abuse, having read the now edited first reply - was there really any need OP?

not sure if its the tab 2 7.0 you're referring to OP, but I've just bought one from CPW for £157 on Fri :-) and Mattyprice4004, I can honestly say I've had nothing but praise for the CPW everytime I had to call up for anything :-) even decent advice and friendly service in some stores, but also had totally useless ridiculous service and advice from other stores too LOL so yeah, it varies from store to store

    Doesn't mean its wise ;)

Makes perfect sense to me, John Lewis puts an offer on to gain an advantage on competitors and then when it takes business away from the competitor it doesn't honour the offer. If I was the competitor I'd go out of my way to help, but then thats just me :p
