Assuming that I am correct in my above observation, imagine if someone who pays a higher amount does not pay on time. This could potentially cause problems with cash flow for the nursery.
I agree with this. In our case, a £50 would be a surcharge of 10% on our monthly payment which doesn't seem too unreasonable as a penalty. Our city has just been in the news for the most costly childcare in Europe though!0
