Section 7 return your completed form with the Bond(s) listed to Children's Bonus Bonds, National Savings
and Investments, Glasgow, G58 1SB.0 -
Sorry I already have the form, and was on hold to NSandI when I posted this thread - I gave up being on hold after nearly 10 minutes and wondered if anyone on here could answer my query.
As I don't have the original bond certificates will I have to wait to see if NS and I can re-issue them, or is there another way for me to cash these in?
I didn't realise that I had any left - they were a childhood gift from a relative whom has since passed away.
My dad passed me a letter on Monday from NS and I that he had received in 2005 but had never passed on to me until he was packing his house ready to move and found it.
Any suggestions anyone may have will be gratefully received - if not I shall call NS and I again tomorrow and hopefully actually get to speak to someone.
Thanks.0 -
Is the information on this page from NS&i any help with your query:

You could try calling NS&i again with your query when it is a quiet time of the day, you may get through to them without being placed on hold.
In case you are not aware they are open from 7am till midnight - 0500 007 007Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk0 -
No I totally didn't realise that they were open until midnight - thank you for this
I am hoping to get this sorted quickly as they matured in 2005 and subsequently I have about £500 just sitting there not doing anything.
I may ask if it is possible to reinvest them as premium bonds for the time being - as I think I may suffer from money burning a hole in my pocket if I get it paid in to my bank account - especially with January sales etc.0
