Working Tax Credit Query

Hi

My hubby has been a homemaker for 10 years now and has been offered 7.5hours work a week. Will this affect our Working Tax Credit that we receive for my salary?

Thanks for any help.

Your Tax credits would be affected by any change in joint income, however as there is a £25,000 disregard then this would not change the amount you receive until next tax year 2008-2009.

Excellent, thank you for replying. Both annual incomes would not reach £25,000 so I hope this wouldn't make a difference.
