If its you thats going to prison then you need toget a relative to get in touch with the DSS and the housing benefit and council tax. Do not leave it upto the prison to sort out as in my experience they sometimes do not sort it out properly.
Get the relative to go in to see the council re housing benefit and council tax and I would get them to get the persons name who they spoke to and write down what was agreed.
Hopefully if you do all this then everything should go o.k.
Also you need to think about moving you valuables out of the property and asking the council/landlord to secure the property against burglary.

thanks dandelionclock30, no its not me, i was trying to find out if my neighbor would keep his place, i have had many run ins with anti social noise and his 7 pitbulls but getting no where, the mother dog attacked a boy and left him prity scared thankfully not his face heard that he will go down for 6 months but atleast we will get 3 months peace, but really was hoping he would have left his flat.
  • Its possible that the council might begin eviction proceedings under breach of the tenancy agreement if he is being a nuisance.People usually have to have a variety of warnings first. If he does go to prision he will not be allowed to keep those dogs in the house whilst he is away, with say a neighbour just looking after them.
I thought (I may be wrong) that you were only allowed a couple of dogs in a council house?

you can only have a dog if you ask permission, the dog has been putdown but puppies still there, the council have been prity good and seen him on a couple of times, the wife is on remission now for a few months and we just getting our lives back on track and we really did not want all this rubbish going on, think i will ring them again and see if they can do anything like breach of the tenancy agreement
