Mix and Match Kitchens

Is it at all easy/practical to mix and match kitchen bits from different suppliers? e.g cabinets from Ikea, worktop from MFI, appliances from Currys? Or is it a bit of a nightmare to get it all to match up size wise and easier all round to get everything from the one place?

Units from ikea, built-in fridge from 'net, worktop from local supplier.

Not a problem at all. built in appliances are standard sizes, units are pretty much standard height too, widths obviously vary according to requierments. worktops are usually standard 65cm depth.

shouldn't be an issue at all.

    are you fitting it yourself?
