Hi All,
Not sure if this has been asked already but can you please let me know what i should change on my linksys setup if i want my laptop to connect to my network ? I am going to use my work laptop. I used to connect without any security but now that i i've put in WEP, i'm not sure how i can assign my laptop's ip or mac address so that it is allowed to access my network.
thanks in advance.

you should not need to enter the IP or MAC , just connect to your network and enter your wep key when askedEx forum ambassador

Yeah agreed. My router also allows me to specify a device list if required - but if you've set up WEP already - just use it 'as is' as it's all you really need.Throwing acid is bad.... in some peoples eyes...0
