Thanks beanielou. Looks like i haven't even been accepted as i haven't heard anything since i applied.

So, to start upping my income, I need a job. Got the job, Now i'm still playing the waiting game from the police to release my CRB. I have never been in trouble, Never attended a police station for any major reason, Yet eight week's later i'm still waiting for them to send my crb back.


Not sure, How long my new "employer" is willing to hold out. When i applied for the role, it was to start before christmas. Just worrying that now, I might loose my job before i even start.:eek:

Today has been a long day. Firstly been up all night with tooth ache. This is something that really needs adding to my DF page as i'm suffering with this pain, Since september because i cant afford dental treatments. Then we had to leave here this morning to be at court for 9am, Where OH was a witness.
After a long hold up, We finally left there before lunch, Although the trail really could have ended well before 11.

Made my way to the banks. Personally i'm sick to death of being fobbed off with the same old excuses. So i finally have this sorted. I have transfered my DD to the joint account for the minor things, Because until i'm working i cant move any of the bigger amounts over as they will just bounce.

Now, I need to make a list of all DD & bills. Contact getting them on DD if there not already & change all the dates.
Been with n*twest since i was 13 & they have never offered me any banking support, different accounts (like SAVINGS - Although a nice overdraft & credit card would have prob been abused) Nothing, Yet. Been with Ll*yds around 6 months and so far, they have done all leg work with my accounts. Now helped me with basic budgeting & Gave me information about saving accounts. Really made me think today that sometimes a fresh start can do wonders....

So, Ive finally lost count on the NSD'S, thinking it must be totally 2 weeks, but will look back later today to update my sig.!:j

Nothing special to report, Mainly been spending my time looking at the boards & trying to locate more area's where i can save / make money.

Want to do a quick recap of everything i have managed to do so far.:

1. Ive hit the banks. Changed over most of the direct debits.
2. I have started a spending chart
3. Started a dfd!! :jon here!
4. Sorted the council tax, well as much as I can.
5. Had NSD'S
6. Started collecting & saving loose change.
7. Bagged up loose change ready for the banks. So far up to £26 in various coins.
8. Started clearing a path of everything i can sell. This means ive got to part with my beloved handbags, but needs are must! I NEED to stop being vain!
9. Looked at our travel cost's & this was shocking! :eek: Need to past my driving test this year and it should save us at least 30% yearly on our outgoings.
10. Get working!! Hurry up CRB!

The plans for 2013!

• Loose the debt. At least 75% worth!
• Loose 3 stone.
• Start putting £20 a week into the savings account until we've paid some of the above off!

I'm pretty sure that there will be loads more to be added when i home!

Morning!



So I haven’tupdated for a while, because there really wasn’t anything to update. However,last night I got some bad news….!

I’ve lost myjob before I’ve even started. L

Basically, Igot a telephone call from my employer explaining that she’s been ill the lastfew weeks & attending the doctors confirmed she’s pregnant. Further more,because she’s got health issues. She’s been signed off ALL working duties.



This hascompletely kicked me in the guts.

This year OH& I had loads planned, Mainly getting these debts shoved off – But now,there is no chance of that happening as we can “Just” afford to keep warm &eat.

It took meover a year to get this far & looking at the job market in my area. Itsgoing to be another year plus before anything else.

So sorry to hear that but try not to be too disheartened, hopefully you can focus all your positivity into finding something different. Hugs x
