  • So the last two days hasn't gone to plan like i hoped it would have.

Firstly, crossed everything on the above posts. Bar two. In my eyes, The 2 most important. Each bank refused to see us, Limited staff to demands of customers. & Citizens advice is closed until the 3rd in my local area.

Today i also caved in...I started spending money we haven't got.
Now i'm sat here with the depressed...Im useless...Feelings.

I know the money i spent does have a cause, Some plain cheap clothes for my new job in the new year (Uniform as such isn't required* Just plain clothing) and some christmas bits & bobs for next year. But. I'm really wanting to kick myself that i caved so early into my DF journey.

I have been saving my spare change also. Must be getting nearer to £20 because people where i live (See anything under £0.50p's ) Cheap money and tend to throw it. I hate that i pick it up (Do wonder what people say) But its made me just under a £5 in a week!! :O

Also, Decided to list some bits & bobs on E*ay later as OH is sitting on the xbox which gives me time to sort out whats going.

Good luck with your journey, confronting it all is difficult but you have done that now so well done. That's not to say that the rest of it isn't difficult but it's easier when you know what you are up against :)
Also a clear out sounds a jolly good idea, I think being surrounded by all your stuff, especially the things that you don't need or like gets you down. De cluttering is hugely therapeutic & if nets you some extra ££ then that's even better.
Hope all goes well....you can do it :)
  • Lost count on the NSD....But again, Not a penny spent since saturday!

Since yesterday i have been surfing MSE like a crazy women looking for any claims i might be entitled too.

So far, We have seen that OH might be entitled to the repayment for having his uniform / work clothing washed at home. So today we're downloading the forms for this. Also, I've been reading that i might be entitled to PPI reclaim from catalogues! :T

Not counting my chickens yet, As we're not even sure if we can claim any of this, But, I have so much trust in the users of the site to be frank....If they give the green light then we MUST take it! :O

This month is a hard one. We're even worried that we cant pay the rent because of extra bills...Spending ect.
Feeling really stupid because we know better. Sometimes, I feel like nothing gets easier!

Anyways...I would like to say thank you for the support. I hope everyone has a GREAT NEW YEARS!

Can you pay even part of your rent?
Anything would be better than nothing.
Remember rent is a priority debt.

  • So today is a UP day!!

The last few days ive been rather depressed and not being able to freely look at anything in the right frame of mind.

But today so far has been a sharp turn around and so far, I've managed to sort out loads!

    The council tax:

I have contacted the court this morning. Agreed that we DONT have to attend but we have pushed for the means testing to take place. They will also take into account my medical problems & OH dyslexia. I know its not any better but, In my eyes i haven't hid from the problem.

    Avon:

OH & I both got a letter a few days ago saying that Avon havent got the returns back we sent in sept 2012. Now they are sending a debt recovery agent to come and get our goods. Lucky i still had the returns letters & i've emailed this - this morning. Hopefully this has cleared up the matter!

Now, I'm not sure if ive done the right thing or not, but ive applied for a capital one (bad credit) credit card. Hoping that i can pay one bill off per month & pay the card in full monthly. Only reason for this - Is to rebuild my credit rating!!?? I see that this has been some members advice to others & i hope its something that might work for me.

Not a fan of the bad credit cards TBH.
Be careful that you can pay off in full.
